Life
on the Open Road
I have been a full-time
RVer for 9 years, primarily "boondocking," camping free without hookups,
in the Western US. I am connected electronically with the world via satellite
TV, cell phone and internet card. My batteries are charged by solar panels.
I welcome your comments and emails. |
Traveling-U.S.A
Donna has been on the road
since 1998 and Bob since 2004. We are both from Salem, Ohio and met December
2005 on the desert below Quartzsite AZ, having not met previously in Ohio.
We joined together and are traveling in in a motorhome we purchased together
in 2007. We are discovering the country together and even though Donna
has been to 49 states she is enjoying seeing new sites with Bob that she
hasn't seen before and he is enjoying seeing everything for the first time.
Follow us in our journey across this great land and let us know of places
we shouldn't miss along the way Donna & Bob |
Guiler
Travels
We have been full-time RVing
since mid-2004 and are loving our life! We like to say that we are living
the Lonestar song which says we are "chasing our dreams down the interstate!"
We use this blog to journal about the places we see and the thoughts we
have about them. We don't know how long we'll be on the road, but we'll
keep at it until we don't want to do it anymore. It's a great life being
able to travel with your best friend and spouse. |
R-V
There Yet
We are Rick and Tinka Levvis.
After retiring in March of 2007, we began travelling in our RV full-time.
We intend to travel for a few years until we figure out where we want to
live when we grow up. This winter (2007 - 2008) we are traveling down the
west coast of Mexico’s mainland. Cities we plan on exploring are
San Carlos, Mazatlan, Sayulita, and Puerto Vallarto. After that,
our plans are pretty fluid. Our rig is a 2005 Montana 3500RL, 35 foot,
5th wheel. The tow vehicle is a souped up Dodge 1-ton diesel pickup.
It is equiped with everything Banks Power could put on it, providing nearly
500 horsepower, 1600 ft/lb torque and an exhaust brake to help eliminate
downhill terror. |

Because
We Can!
In
the beginning, it was only a comment made coming back from one of
our usual weekend camping trips. "I enjoy these weekends so much, I just
wish we didn't have to pack and unpack everything every time we go."
As they say, Out of the mouth of babes.... |

Wanderings
and Side Trips
Welcome
to our blog. We will be entering information on our wanderings and side
trips since our retirement on December 31, 2004. Our goal is to travel
the United States in our Fifth wheel trailer, visiting and experiencing
all we can with the time we have left on this planet. We hope you will
check back often to see what we are up to.

Our
Adventure
Our blog was started in
2005. We were 90% full timers from 2000 till selling our home in
2004 and are now houseless but not homeless. We are involved with
church construction projects in the summer up north and the remainder just
travel around. Jean is a avid quilter even in the motorhome with fabric
vying for space with tools.
Welcome to follow our adventure
which is updated at least weekly. |
Gypsy
Jane's Blog
So – who is GypsyJane?
“I am a rambler,
and a traveler on the road, can’t settle down…”
When I was about 12 or 13,
I encountered a Ford Travelwagon in a showroom and knew I had to have an
RV. Not that I had a clue what an RV was. But that was my dream home, and
my dream car, when all my friends wanted Mustangs and souped up Chevys.
Gypsy Jane gets her 3rd motorhome and decides it's a good point to start
blogging it's adventures.
Gypsy's a reset merchandiser
who travels both for work and for fun. No telling where that motorhome
might show up ;) |

On the Road
On October 9, 2004
we moved into our Hitchhiker fifth-wheel trailer and hit the road as full-time
RVers. We ride motorcycles and like to geocache. |
Dan
and Susan's Excellent Adventure
Susan and I are in our early
50s. Since the day we met, our enjoyment and main activity has always been
camping. We are Full Time Rvers. We no longer own a stick house
on a foundation. Our house has wheels. This is a lifestyle that is becoming
more and more commonplace. The ability to choose your neighbors, weather,
and surroundings at the drop of a hat is absolutely the best. Check in
often to see where we are and what we are doing. There may even be a couple
of updates per day. We would like to here from you. |
The
Cuzz Travels
After 34 years of marriage
and Jeff retiring this year we are beginning an adventure we have discussed
for years, full timing in our 2001 Tradewinds. We are experienced RVers
who have owned motorhomes since the 1970's and have always enjoyed RVing.
We plan to spend some time visiting North America and deciding where we
plan to settle down interspersed with visits to our daughters and their
families in Illinois and Hawaii. |
Backroad
Chronicles
Joy
and Phil discussed and researched the lifestyle. They worked together for
nearly five years in preparation for their dream of full time RV living.
Phil retired in June 2004; they moved into the perfect motorhome; held
the last garage sale; sold the vehicles, boat and house; bought the Ford
Ranger; crossed off what seemed like thousands of to-dos on the lists and
at last, the day of departure arrived. Welcome to our weblog and let the
adventure begin! |

I have become a Campground Host with California State Parks on the central

This
is the webspace of Terry and Dale Pace. We are retired and have recently
become "full-timers." We live and travel in our motorhome along with our
two Scottish Terriers, Bailey and Neal. This space will allow our family
and friends to keep up with our travels. Terry taught early in his career
and Dale taught for 34 years, which gives us the name of our space, "Skool'z
