About
Us
We're Barb And Dave Mohr.
We've been full time RVers in a large 5th wheel since 1996. During that
time we've owned a RV lot in South Florida and we've spent our winters
there. We traveled every summer and during that time we've visited every
state except Hawaii. We've been to every Canadian Province except the NW
Territory. We also visited Mexico. Going to the Copper Canyon and all the
way down the Baja Peninsula. We've also done some work camping along the
way. We were tail gunner/mechanics on a couple of RV caravans, we've worked
in camp grounds for pay, we've done volunteer work in a small museum in
Wy. It's been an absolutly great life. Now we've sold our RV lot in Florida
and we're going on the road more year round. |

Travels
with Gertie
I'm not going to try to
explain how over a period of a year or so, I became vitally interested
in all things having to do with RVing. I have trouble explaining it to
myself, because much of the time it seemed as if some mysterious inner
force was pulling me inexorably in that direction. |
Lainie
and Jerry hit the Road
We
have bought and outfitted a 31' Class A Seaview motorhome with toys and
gear for an extended tour of North America. Where we head next is anyone's
guess. We've been on the road for a couple of years, and have maintained
a website from day one. There are some pictures, and well over 100 journal
entries I and my wife Lainie have written about our adventures. |
ON
THE ROAD Georgia Off My Mind
Welcome to our adventure.
This website is about getting back to what's really important about life
living it! We had a house in suburbia; we battled the traffic to
get to work; we had jobs that paid the bills and gave us the means
to acquire all those THINGS that seem so necessary, but which, ultimately,
left us unsatisfied. Somewhere down the road, around the next bend--the
journey is the destination. |
Where
RV Now?
We began our fulltime RVing
adventure in August 2002. Read more within, and see some of the places
and things we've seen. The tale begins here |
AmericanWebLog
One Man's Tales of Travel,
People, Places, and Events Deep in America. As a writer, teacher, webdesigner,

as well as being full of interesting and his plans for the future. Much
more added to the site as I wander. |
